INITIAL CONSULTATION
You will meet Orelie for a one-to-one personalised consultation in our studio or at a location of your choice. During the consultation, you will discuss the occasion, what you like and dream about wearing for that event. You can bring photos and colour inspirations, but Orelie will show you her latest creations as well as colour palettes with fabrics and embroideries.
BESPOKE FOR YOU
OV Paris Couture gowns are made using your personal measurements. A team of skilled seamstresses will measure you during the Initial or Design Consultation - depending on your preference.
DESIGN & SKETCH
A second appointment will be booked for you to come forward with the design. During this consultation, you will approve one sketch among a dozen, and make any adjustments needed prior to start crafting the unique piece.
PERSONAL MANNEQUIN
Based on your personal measurement sheet, our atelier will construct a bespoke mannequin whose form will be handcrafted from a special fabric solely for you. Your exclusive piece will be crafted and altered on this made-to-measure figure.
THE TOILE & THE FITTING
After the design is decided and your personal perfect block created, we'll use a special fabric for patterns to create the Toile.
During your first fitting that can take place wherever you wish, you will try this toile.
We'll make adjustments and if necessary, we'll come to you again to check the toile before crafting your garment in the fabric you chose.
THE FINAL FITTING
The garment being completely hand-crafted, it can take anywhere from 100 to 800 hours to create it and at least 2 full-time tailors and seamstresses using their expertise — from the smallest, microscopic details to the more salient, eye-catching aspects — to bring yours thoughts onto the piece. Once the piece is perfected, you will be called to come in for the final fitting or we will come to you. Our team of seamstresses will make sure the piece sits properly on your body and fits like a glove.
